Cheer schedules try-outs

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS cheerleading program is holding tryouts March 9-12 for the new 2020 – 2021 cheerleading season. The program is hosting two clinics the week before tryouts. Students who want to join the program but do not have much cheerleading experience can learn the basics for a small fee of $10. Cheerleaders recognize excellence at banquet

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Thursday the LRHS cheerleading program finished off the season with their annual banquet at the Tara golf and country club. At the event, first-year junior varsity (JV) and varsity cheerleaders were given their letters. Junior varsity cheerleader freshman Savannah Else said, “I was so happy when I received my letter, and I am hoping to receive my varsity one next season.” All athletes at the banquet that maintained an unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher received an award.

Mustangs cheer posts best-ever national ranking

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS varsity cheerleading team took on the National High School Cheerleading Competition (NHSCC) last weekend, Feb. 7-9. (LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – This week the LRHS varsity cheer team heads to national competiton at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, FL. The team has been preparing for this weekend since December.
